Lindora Park Free Zone expanded its tenant portfolio with the addition of Integrated Logistics Services (SEL) companies.
According to the free trade zone, integrated logistics service companies specialize in adding value to logistics operations through inventory control. This includes managing expiration dates, quality control, sorting, packaging, repackaging, invoicing, and distributing goods without altering the nature of the products.
Lindora Park ‘s general manager , Javier Bello, commented that the rise of these new distribution centers within business parks coincides with recent reforms to the Free Trade Zone Regulations, as well as with the approval of regulations that strengthen the role of Local Economic Zones (SELs).
In 2024, modifications were introduced to demand greater added value from these logistics operations. These included strict controls, traceability, expiration date management, and inventory management with more robust standards. As a result, SEL companies are no longer simply warehouses but have become specialized nodes within regional supply chains.
